Hey, For a long time now i’ve allways wanted to be able to buy a very unique CMS /Blog, Theres none around and I’m kind of tired of Wordpress, I think if one or maybe a group of you guys got together and developed a custom CMS /Blog for ThemeForest shop, What do you think?
Check out expression engine… if you want to pay for a CMS /Blog platform.. or Drupal, Joomla or Wordpress if you don’t ..
expression engine doesnt look very good…
Whats the point with creating a new cms ? Maybe you want some features that wordpress cant offer you ? Otherwise it´s like reinventing the wheel, stuupid and waste of time.
No reason to get mad, Just a idea…?

I´m not mad. The idea is good, but I wonder why you want a new custom cms ?
My friend is making one. Limecore.net. Beta isn’t out yet. Gonna be cool
I’ve developed my own cms. It’s simple and my clients love it!

In my opinion, the only reason to write your own CMS is:
1) You want to learn how to do so. It’s a fantastic learning tool.
2) You want the code to be 100% yours. I can completely understand this, and have done so myself.
Otherwise, use one of the fantastic offerings around the web.
P.S. ExpressionEngine is quite good.
