Just curious as to how many people around here use Twitter and if a custom Twitter template would be something anyone would be interested in?

Umm, did I missed something? What do you mean by “custom twitter template”?

A lot of people use Twitter ( twitter.com ) and some people like to include their twitter posts on their website, blog, etc. Some people even like to use a dedicated page for their twitter posts, etc. so that they can really customize the look of it.

Oh, now I understand… but I don’t see the point – of course, if there would be people willing to pay for something like this, then OK ;)

certain portfolio themes may have a twitter area that is built for that, i kno one of the ones im working on with photographers/illustrators in mind will include that. someone could definately implement that for you, maybe even on to an existing theme, and maybe if people were interested, like mastergreed said, someone would make one.

@zachlebar – I’m not in need of it being done, I was just curious if I built it if anyone would buy it. I have already built an HTML theme with twitter built into it and personally really like it but I’m not sure how popular the idea is with others.

I included 6 twitter theme as bonus in my first template (can’t post link for forum policies). Actually, they’re just background images studied to fit well in twitter. But, here’s the bad news, nobody bought it! :(

It’s very simple to implement twitter tweets to your template and make it look great, but I don’t see the point of creating a “stand-alone” template just for twitter. Seriously, who would buy a template to create a twitter timeline under his own domain?

I think you would do better to suggest idea of plugging domain and loading custom templates to Twitter development team on getsatisfaction.com…
