maxwheaton you’re being very unprofessional. You saw what you bought, on the demo site, you can’t expect it to fly or to make miracles come true. If you can’t get the look on the demo and the features that are on the demo, you can contact the support and they’ll give you your refund. But if you want the refund just because you don’t like it or don’t know how to use it, that won’t happen. You downloaded a digital product that can’t be tracked, you can get the refund and still use it for example. It’s not like a physical product where you return it back and get the money.

all of you people amaze me. First, you hide behind alias and spout of on something you know nothing about and put all the blame on me. Did it ever occur to Envato to contact Dream-Theme and get a copy of the problem reports that went on for a week? No they didn’t. It was easier & obviously cheaper to give me a hard time….

The package would not load via zipped file and had to be loaded, unzipped via a ftp manager. Second I couldn’t get it to work or be recognizes by WordPress. I got Dream-Theme to load it. WordPress recognized it. After a lot of design work I discovered that it couldn’t be published to the web. Ny host provider discovered that the Dream-theme loaded it into the wrong area. The host told me to contact Dream-Theme and tell them that it was in the wrong place. So I did and that’s when things got really silly. Dream-Theme started arguing the point so I told them to contact my host and that they would get the info. That’s when Dreme-Theme refused to contact my host and cut me off and withdrew support.

So, FinalDestiny I’m the unprofessional one in this….I will not be responding to this anymore…y”all have yourselves a wonderful day and continue hiding behind alias’s

Where have you fallen from, the moon perhaps? No matter where you come from, you have to have experience doing HTML, CMS, CSS, etc before you purchase anything stock website template / stock themes.

Before you click purchase, MAKE SURE YOU READ TERMS, there is nobody to do that for you!!

You must also be ready to do the awesome work for yourself, as exposing your awesome work to the world gives you the unique approach and content!! No theme can guess what you want to do and make it so… there is no such thing. Nobody will do this or you for free. BUT is this expressing your dissatisfaction actually the best you can do?

With your behavior I think almost anyone could have easily ignored you. Asking nicely what you need to do will get you solved, your way just does not even count.

Trying to do bad to us goes back to you instead. Think about it.

You don’t know how to proper install a theme you downloaded and accuse the author of the theme for that? Are you serious? Did you read the documentation? If you don’t have enough knowledge, hire a programmer. Dream-Theme has over 18k customers, do you think he would have that many customers if his themes weren’t working properly?

Noone is blaming anyone. These users (most of whom have been on here for some time) are simply pointing out the T&Cs that anyone purchasing here agrees to.

Exactly. Plus you need to understand that:

1) Support is not mandatory
2) You can get a refund, when the item is falsely advertised
3) You need at least basic knowledge to do some things. Right now it seems you didn’t even read the documentation which was provided to you with the theme.

You have right now like 10 people trying to help you for free to sort your problems out and you just simply ignore everyone. I do not know how things are done in photography world, but the profession doesn’t really matter, you have to respect other people when you want to be respected too.

When you acknowledge those things, then I think you will get your bought theme working in no time.

Ok so the preview is working 100% is or is it not? I think that the installation instructions are in the help manual, not a 100 % but they should be. Once you read through how to install the theme and it does not work, well then there could be 2 things wrong. Either the instructions are wrong or the installation was done wrong.

I don’t know much about WP but all the themes i bought had very concise instructions even for a WP dummy like myself.

Now i don’t know what the problem is exactly but i am sure if you keep your cool and ask professionally then things will get resolved. I have never had any problems with my customers.

cheers
