the track may be awesome, then even if you purchased one time you need to purchase it again for a different project, so sales number increase.

haha that’s true. The more the subject relates to art (like music and design), it will be less predictable in the market.
However, just wondering in ThemeForest (which less likely relates to art but framework
) almost everything looks same but one makes huge sale but another doesn’t – I guess there are few more reasons such as inefficient search results and wobbling exposure differences in new items and popular ones.

Right. If you manage to get an item consistently in the popular items lists, that alone may boost the exposure of your portfolio and help your sales in general. Plenty of factors that effect which authors sell more, like which have the best off site promotion and so on…
