A better thing will be a better and a more used file info area… you can post there the questions and the answers for that file…
Now that text area is pretty annoying to edit without a text editor and a bigger editable area…
Also.. the comments can’t be edited right after your post.. and sometimes the html corrupts your text format… :/

shouldnt be so easy to rate a file as 1* ... the bear minimum should be a q on each rating and the answer gets fed back to author so he can improve the file or thank client.

I think the ability for someone to change their rating at a later date would help.

It’s been said a million times, that when buyers jump the gun and rate a file without asking questions…sometimes they eventually get the answers they need and their opinion on a file may change. So having the ability to change the rating for a file that they have already rated, would be cool.

If they rate it a 1 star, and then later realize the answers and get the file working as needed, they can change it to a more appropriate and fair rating.

then you run the risk of buyers using it as a weapon, rate 1 star, then ask the question as they know they are going to get a speedy response…

See if you were offering something along the lines of 4.345654 cents, then maybe I would pay attention to your ridiculous comment but since your not, I am ignoring you completely.

another suggestion would be to have a breakdown of starz – like on amazon – 5 stars (101 ratings), 4 stars (2 ratings) – would put things in perspective

and sometimes you post something with a ugly grammar (ok, I do it sometimes…) and you need to corrent it, but the only way to do so is commenting again.

another idea is to make it compulsory to leave a reason for your rating.

I agree, but perhaps a drop down of choices would be better with the option of leaving a few additional comments…

I was also thinking that might help. The little graphs really clarify things.
