Hi

Recently I have a buyer that complain about css3 3D effect that not shown on IE9 browser. I’ve tell him that this is not the theme problem/issue, IE9 do not support “css3 transition”, that’s why the 3D effect wont show up. But he said that I need to remove IE9 from compatible browser or give some advice to fix that problem. :D

My english is not so good, Any tips on how I should explain about this situation to him?

Many Thanks!

Yes you should definitely send them the link from TommusRhodus AND explain that:

“Themeforest’s guidelines on the IE9 compatibility reference is based on the themes ability to perform as it should within the confines of the browser capability.”

We can script you a longer/more detailed response if necessary. Good luck

You should mention the specifics on the “Item Details” page otherwise your theme/template might get disabled due to quality reasons.

thanks for the advice – I will do that.

Whilst I don’t think you’ll have it disabled because of IE9 lack of CSS3 compatibility, it might be a good idea to mention it in the description, if the 3D is a big selling point of the theme.

Being fully transparent with buyers is always a good idea :)

Well not all buyers are as knowledgeable as developers are so they might contact Envato support and if few of them contact Envato support then the quality control team will definitely disable your item and ask you update item description.
