I now have products on envato that passed 2 years . throw these years I have released various updates with new features added and issues fixed . now the product has old comments that refer to the product in it’s infancy which differs from the product nature now .

I’m thinking if I can remove all these aged comment’s . may be I want to leave only the latest 6 months of comments .

have you ever meet this thing ? is it fine with envato to report all old comments at once ?

Good Idea, this makes the upcoming search feature even better.

I would not generally delete them rather hide them or don’t included them in search (only explicated)

Good idea.

Solutions from several years ago may no longer be applicable to the current version of a product, so this will help prevent customer confusion.

Some rating system that could gauge the usefulness would be good..

old != bad

I think archiving them is plenty.

Have the comments from the last X amount of time display normally, the rest display greyed out with a note to say the comment may no longer apply to the item.
