I had an item approved already and simply needed to get an update sent through the que.

After I submitted the updated file, I realized that I had forgotten a small thing so I decided to immediately remove that updated item from the que and then try again.

But when I clicked to delete from the que, it removed my entire item that was already approved. gah! Has it always been like that or am I just the victim of a bug?!?

I sent a support ticket yesterday but it’s really hard to wait for a response and I’m afraid that I’m going to have to resubmit my entire item again.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so, are they able to repost it as it was (I will now have lost all the item comments and such)?

Hey Jami,

Can you send me the ticket ID and the full name/info about the item to me via my profile page? If you can send it soon I’ll check it before I turn in for the night.

I’ve never heard of this happening, if you just removed it from the queue and it was a previously accepted item it should not have deleted it. Just to be safe, are you sure you didn’t accidentally delete the whole item when trying to remove it?

No worries, we’ll get it figured out either way :)

Hi Drew!

Here is my support #:

Ticket ID: 100407

I originally thought that maybe I had accidentally deleted the item but when I went through the process again today, I am 99.9% certain that I only clicked to remove the updated item submission from the sidebar.

Thanks very much for your response. :)

I was starting to think I had gone crazy. Even though it stinks that other people experienced the same thing, I’m glad to know I’m not alone with this issue.

Something which can be useful : if you have an item awaiting approval, you can reupload it without deleting it from the queue ;)

Reuploading the item will replace one that’s already waiting in que? Maybe that information should be posted somewhere on the upload page.

Also, I swear I was able to remove my update from the que before without the entire approved item being removed.

Yes I know this delete button, but if you reupload, it replaces the previous one and put your item back to the end of the queue.
