Hi guys i am tf author and have some questions about in 3D subject,
Well i am newbie of blender and working around on it, but i want to know about designing and creating objects, shapes, character can be done easily in blender or blender is for 3D animation.
Second for designing objects, shapes and character i heared the ZBrush. so i need to design things in ZBrush and then import into blender for animation purpose?
Third if in blender i can do design and create object, shapes, character then the quality of work will be same comparision with ZBrush or ZBrush is more good then blender?
Anyone here who can answer my questions
Hi
What kind of models will you be making? for renders? fore realtime use?
Blender and Zbrush is 2 different kinds of softwares, Zbrush is a sculping tool, I’m a 3D artist for games so i cant really speak for other industries but im guessing its a bit alike. you sculpt a high poly mesh inside zbrush then usually u would retopo a new mesh which is more low poly and a lot easier to uv map, then u can use the HP and LP meshes to create a normal map or a displacement map.
not really sure what you are planning on making, but, if its just for designing, coming up with ideas etc, using dynamesh inside of zbrush is a good and simple way to sketch something up, instead of the 2D alternatives. You can ofcourse also poly paint your mesh inside zbrush and render it there as well, in case u only want a simple render.
I didn’t quite understand the question either.
And I agree mostly with what jronn has to say. The difference is that blender is like zbrush in that it HAS rudimentary sculpting futures check out dynotopo. But of course you need a lot of ram if you are intending on working this way.

his question is basically, which program works better as an universal solution.. Blender or ZBrush? of if he’d better combine the 2.
so since Blender can sculpt too (as others said), Blender can probably work the best for your purpose!

Thanks All of you guys, As DanielKeller said yes i want to know can i make same static design, modeling and sculpt in blender like ZBrush professionals does. or i have to use Zbrush for designing and import zbrush model in blender for animation.
well if u want a more universal tool then use blender
