well, no story there…you advertise your items outside envato…it make you gain extra online exposure and drive potential buyers to your item(s). You can use any image to link to whatever page/url you want. My recommendation is to use your watermarked image on DA and link it back to the item page where it is on sale. You can also use your AFF ID to make a few extra bigs if you wish.

@all, If you guys want me to create the group, i can do that right away and paste the group Link here in some mins…we can then later search for group managers.

The aim of the group schould be to unite all authors of envato on DA. We already have a Flickr, Facebook and Myspace groups…DA group would be cool addition.

i do it on ongoing basis…out of this DA has the forums where they even have topics to post you site links and blogs etc. There is nothing wrong in this as almost 80% of DA is there to promote their actual services…start from freelance designers and expand to big stock photography providers.

Thought, here we are talking about something different than individual promotion method. Instead of this, we can UNITE and build a group, where all authors that have DA accounts can join and post their items. Why This?...very simple…instead of advertising individual profiles on DA…with the group we have to advertise only the group page where we authors are all members. This is the most easy way.

@thomas07 Yeah, open a group and then open a new topic with the group details.

@matu I dont think DA againts this, there is alot of users there doing that..
