Disabling an Item

Hey everyone, especialy mods.

I have an idea wich for me now would be very useful. If we could disable for a short time any item, for it to be either hidden or marked as “Item Disabled by Author”.

Now I would have to delete it, for buyers not to purchase it and not to have problems with it. One of my items has problem with opening in CS6 . “Missing/corrupted effect shadow/highlight” And I can’t fix it cause I am ill at home, and my working pc is not with me.

Sure they can purchase then try to open it on CS6 and then contact me via email saying my template is crap and useless, then I will explain them whats the problem and that I am ill and “dear client just wait for me to get better”.

so, what do you guys think of this “Disable item”/”Enable item” button?

I’m not sure about this. I don’t see a clear advantage for you or for the buyer.

If you know your item has a bug you can put a notice in the item description while you wait for the reviewer to approve the update.

The buyer want a functioning item so, if he read the notice he knows the update is coming. If he doesn’t see the notice you can just inform him that the fix is on the way. Meanwhile your item is not hidden, a potential buyer can see it and wait for the update before buying it. If the item is hidden this potential buyer is lost.

Since deleting & re-uploading an item is forbidden, suspending would be useful indeed! There are many more cases one needs to do this. Sometimes AJ authors remove their audio tracks & finding an appropriate replacement (link & preview) needs time…

Yeah I had one more case when I thought about suspending would be nice , but I don’t remember what was the reason I wanted to do it.

It’s works with CS6 . It just gives error and after I remove it will work perfectly on CS6 .

upload 2 versions cs6 version and other versions thats the the best
