It looks OK for me, but well, I’m not the best designer on themeforest yet ;) Anyway add more content and give it a try. You could only regret if You won’t try.

Good luck.

I’m pretty certain that wouldn’t be accepted as is, but it’s no big deal. Some people spend months trying to get one item accepted only to find they’ve become a much better designer through the process. The most important thing is to take feedback well and keep trying until you get where you want to be.

People on the forums here are more than happy to give pointers and help you improve so to kick things off:

The main problem with that design is it’s just very plain. Plain background, plain fonts, plain navigation. Themes here tend to excel in attention to detail, so while you’ve got an OKish layout it’s the lack of design details that’s letting you down.

Compare your design with some of a similar layout that are already for sale here and you’ll see what I mean. There’s nothing wrong with drawing inspiration from existing items either, if you’re not sure where to start, just be careful not to step over the line into ripoff :)

TL;DR Needs more oomf!

Thank You both very much for the feedback.
I meant if I have the skill to start designing for Themeforest, but not with this particular design. It was just a quick practice…

Your work looks fine to me, but may not be good to others; however, you could keep on doing your best. Surely, you can accomplish something in the future. Correct practice makes it perfect.

Very clean and good structured. Margins and paddings are good, too. But it wouldn’t be accepted as is because it’s just to simple. But I think you have the skill to compete on this market.

Good luck!

Yes, you’ve got skill, but it still is not up to TF standards. It’s still missing some pixel-perfect details. But again, you have the skill – I truly mean that; most users posting their themes are far away from where you are – just keep practicing.

Nice theme but it’s not pixel perfect but minimal.
