I’ve been thinking about getting a tattoo for several years now, but never wanted to get one just for the sake of having one. So I’ve been slowly pondering about it for a long time now and I think I might get my first one this spring or early summer.

What about other authors/buyers/Envato staff? Show ‘em if you got ‘em!

There are procedures, but as I understand they’re very expensive and hurt far more than actually getting a tattoo. And you have to take the procedure many times.

I have a few cautionary tales, with one acquaintance having an Asian symbol she doesn’t even know the meaning of :) She got it when they were popular and it means “toilet bowl” for all she knows. So getting a tattoo is certainly not something to take lightly, which is why I’ve been thinking long and hard about it myself.

I think there are services that can remove it but I do not know how effective they are.

Well I don’t personally have a tattoo nor intend to. It does not mean I dislike them…I think it more in context of what type and location.
