Do you think this product's price is reasonable?

When it got approved the reviewer noted that and I quote “I think this has lots of potential. Pricing this at $11 for now since I feel that’s the sweet spot considering this item’s functionality.”

I trust the reviewers’ judgement on prices, but it has had 0 sales so far, and I figured I should get opinions from other users. So do you think this item is useful, overpriced, neither, or both?

I think it is definitely useful, but perhaps a little over priced. I see that it has been lowered to $6, which seems more appropriate.

Sometimes you just have to try different prices before finding the sweet spot.

Thought so too. I asked many of my fellow devs about that plugin and everyone says that it’s really useful, but the sales speak for themselves. Even at half of it’s original price there has been just one sale.

Or… we are all in a great delusion and the plugin isn’t so useful, haha.

The thing to remember is that just because it is useful does not mean that there is a large market for it (not saying there isn’t). It’s the kind of plugin that people will purchase when they have a specific need for it, not just to have on hand.

What I would recommend is to keep it in your portfolio (it will get sales over time) and just keep building more. The more items you add to your portfolio, the more exposure you will give this one.
