I would like to know if it is okay to use 960gs for creating site templates 
I think it is. Anyway I’d rather not use it. Making your own themes with your own grid akes it more unique.

It saves a lot of time…you just write down your html and then start adding classes. I love it.

Hi, I discovered it somes days ago, and I think it is very useful for the layout design process, with the psd grid, and also with for coding. It saves you a lot of times, and it is symply perfect!
I love using 960GS. There are other grid systems but really 960 drew me in. There are themes on TF that use 960 (I puchased one some time ago)
Every grid system has its restrictions and limitations. I used 960’s several times but there is nothing like custom grids and CSS structure
