Hi there,

There are many great frameworks out there for WordPress developing (link) and authers here use them as well, on the other hand many others decide to develop their own Framework or Develop their WordPress themes from scratch and build everything themselves.

Currently we only use the OptionTree plugin for creating Theme Options if you’re wondering :)

We are using our own framework.

As a starting point, Parallelus showed a framework that looks very promising and that many authors are using.

Best regards, Stefan

Runway looks really cool. I’ve not developed a new theme for almost 2 years now and looking to get back into it, looks like that could be a handy addition to my workflow! Cheers :)

I’ve developed my own framework as well. Just pulled ideas together and kept things simple. Grid CSS works is based loosely on an older version of Foundation – not liking the new stuff they’re doing though.
