Hi guys, I wanted to know if you use any particular responsive framework for your templates/themes or you do the media queries on completely your own.

I want to design one, that’s why I’m asking.

I use Bootstrap.

Would it be a bad idea to do the media queries on my own? I just can’t find a framework that has all the features that I need.

Also, I think using a framework loads a lot of CSS that we don’t actually need, I’m I right?

If you have trouble using a framework – don’t use it. They are designed to help developers, and not to make their lives harder :)

I myself use Twitter Bootstrap.

Hi Fillerspace. Please don’t use self-promotion on the forums. Thanks!

I’ve been a member here for 4 years, I know the rules. I did not post a link to one of my items, I simply suggested a place where he could find a very specific solution to his question. There is nothing in the rules that prohibits that:

http://codecanyon.net/community/forum_rules
A Note on Self Promotion Because of the commercial nature of the Envato networks, authors are expected to understand and respect the fact that using the forum to post links to one’s own items, or to give away free files to the community, is not allowed. This practice effectively undercuts the hard work of all authors who wish to sell their items fairly, and as such it is not tolerated.
