Does your follow link work?
http://www.videohive.net/user/username/follow
My firefox and internet explorer gives blank page, and sometimes requires to sign in again!
Is it only mine?

No. I just tried. I unfollowed you by clicking to unfollow button. And now this link http://videohive.net/user/steve314/follow is not working, I see blank page. With http://www.videohive.net/user/steve314/follow I see this page http://videohive.net/signin

This means that our banners with follow links are not working!

I just followed you, Steve. (Clicked the follow button on your profile). It seems to be working differently to before… no big song and dance or “You are now following Steve314” message…
Just your tally increased by 1.
Mac OSX 10 .6.8 + Safari 5.1.2…

Hey Felt! The follow button works fine,it’s the follow link that we use in the banners that seems to have the problem…
Just tried yours and it has the same problem…

Felt is right, follow button is working little differently. I noticed that its with ajax loader or something like that, but without particular link on button “vh/user/username/follow”, and with something strange (strange for me) in code of user’s profile page (<input name="authenticity_token" type="hidden" value=".........). And there is no message “You are now following username.”, that message appear when I open other, totally different page (little bug).
Anyway something is different. I’m sure that staff know what and why, but definitely our links in project descriptions are not working anymore.
Yes Dorde, thats right, I contacted support.

Sorry! It’s my English…. English with greek grammar!
Unfortunately we will have to remove our follow banners from our profile pages as they will not work any more….
I got the following response from support:
“Unfortunately we had to severely restrict the way in which the follow URLs could be used as some authors were taking advantage of the way we’d set them up originally to force users to follow them by default, rather than through the act of clicking on them. We’re going to try and figure out a safe and secure way to let authors add follow buttons in their descriptions again, but in until we can work out how to do it securely you’ll just need to direct them to the follow button in the sidebar of your portfolio page. Sorry we couldn’t be more help.“
