Hi…

I am searching for a blog style template, but one that actually is a hub for a community of blogs…

i.e. Mary, David, John and Jess all have the same interest and like to blog about similar topics, so in stead of having their own individual blog they each register with ‘multiblog (or whatever)’.

Multiblog’s home page then shows 1 featured blog (the most recent) and then all the different registered bloggers – people using the site can then select which blog they like the look of…

or they can filter what the home page shows – possibly by name, topic, date, address, most viewed, most liked etc… (It would be great if this was customisable)

For new visitors the order the bloggers appear on the home page would be shown in order of the most recent blog post first, oldest last…

When you click on a blog you go to their blog page, which is the same layout for everyone except you can load you’re own profile pic etc…

I guess it’s a bit like Facebook, where the Newsfeed would be Multiblogs home page, and that shows all the posts from the registered bloggers… what I’m doing is for a very specific audience though…

Can anyone suggest some templates I could consider purchasing that would provide this type of functionality? I’ve been looking around but it’s been hard to tell…

p.s. something like http://httpster.net would be awesome except you register and upload your own content, the website isn’t pulling content from a 3rd party site…

:) Cheers Andy
