Not a good idea. If everything goes too low, nobody will earn anything anymore, if everything goes too high, nobody will buy anything. The price adjustment tools once available to elite authors had the same problem. I stand by my opinion that reviewers should specify the file pricing.

God no. It would lead to multiple abuses. Authors in countries with a weak countries would become ridiculously more competitive, and buyers would be drawn to lesser quality products due to price alone.
OT: I completely agree. As a EU resident, and a Euro user (at least for now ;-)) it really hurts withdrawing my earnings. A slight price increase to accomodate inflation and currency hiccups would be ideal.
man it is getting worse and worse…with every day passed the value is going down. I just lost about 50$ on the withdrawal because of this, in comparison to my last dollar check.

Dollar will most probably keep dropping and when it starts hurting envato then things will move, till then all words are waste of time as with all other matters. Keep that in mind.
Out with Bernanke and Nassim Nicholas Taleb for president!
@Anps & graphic_dev – you are absolutely right!
Anyway, thanks to all you authors who have replied. Here is another very interesting video which is showing the current inflation (which is also being exported allover the world):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwI3Nya5L9gI just lost around 10% of what I would’ve received like 2-3 months ago, this really sucks.
Think of it this way: the dollar was overvalued before, so you previously made more money than you “should have” when exchanging to your currency. The dollar value is closer to the actual value toady (based on the US economy).
But I understand how you feel, I had ~$50k when the USD dropped almost 30% to the SEK in 2009.
