I’ve been doing allot of development work lately, and sadly it come to a level where Coda just wasn’t satisfying my forever demanding needs. Therefore 2 days ago just before the hair loss kicked in. I bought dreamweaver for my Mac… which I planned to keep from falling into my web design/dev computer swamp and just use to keep track of all my business doings. (It’s failing because I’m madly in love with it.)

So back to topic, I bought dreamweaver and when it works, I love it. It’s not really anything new as I use it on my VAIO desktop which runs on XP (returned to after vista also caused hair loss). However in 2 days it has ‘unexpectedly shut’ on me 6-7 times.

Anyone else had this problem?

Yep, it’s why I stopped using dreamweaver. All I can recommend is make sure you’ve got the most up to date version, that should cut down on bugs. I found it tended to crash when I did certain things also, so I got in the habit of saving before I did those actions.

thats good to know, well not good but comforting to know it’s not just me. Yeah, i’ve noticed that. It does not seem to like me flipping through tabs when i’m working remotely.

Lets just cross our fingers they fix the bugs soon because it’s such a nice programme to use when it works.

That’s unfortunate. I love Coda too; but there’s a definitely a place for it. For larger applications, Coda doesn’t nearly cut it.
