Dynamic text field bold and italic tags with embedded font problem

Hi Guys.

I am in a similar situation but my problem is that even though the bold & italic text are working fine, during display the first character of bold or italic text does not recognise the space before the word. So no matter what i do it always joins itself with the previous word.

Any ideas what i might be doing wrong?
