Hey Everyone,
I was hoping to find out how much it would cost to develop a big-cartel like system. I don’t need all of the fancy stats and add ons that it has, but inventory management and paypal integration is important.
Thanks, MDF
Hi mforsman,
Can you give me an example of what you are looking for and I can tell you the exact price for the ecommerce platform you want?

We use PrestaShop here. It’s free / open source.
From a few small experiments our customers seem to be able to grasp PrestaShop easier than Magento. PrestaShop seems to be MUCH easier to configure and style than Magento. It’s still version 1.2’ish but works really well in production.
Here’s a few example websites from us using PrestaShop integrated alongside our own cms:
http://www.jaeke.com.au/ http://www.shoestar.com.au/shop/ http://grosgrain.com.au/ http://www.bonsaishop.com.au/
You should be able to find more examples and experienced PrestaShop developers on their website/forums.
Cheers,
dtbaker
