edit a video i have downloaded

i have downloaded video. DO I need a special program to open it and edit it???

Maybe you could be more specific about what kind of video you have downloaded. Videohive sells many types of files, not just the “video” ones.

Double x thanks for your reply. i downloaded a zip file called fun service event or product promotion One file is AEP file, one is a text document and another PDF doucument and one that says footage. Do you I need a particular software to edit this video i have downloaded. i have never used videohive before. i have purchased this download so i can edit it . You can edit the template using Adobe After Effect CS4 above. If you don’t have After Effect, contact the author to customize it.

It’s an After Effects project file. You need After Effects to edit it. The file will contain instructions about how you edit it, although if you have never opened After Effects before, you will probably need to spend a little time familiarising yourself.

After Effects is made by Adobe. There’s an unlimited free trial version, that works for 30 days available from the Adobe website. If you’re not using the video for commercial purposes, you could use that. Otherwise you’d need to consider buying a license or subscribing monthly to the software.

Hey, yes you need program called After Effects, to edit this file.

You just open this file with after effects and then you edit logo and texts. It’s plain and simple especialy using my “help file.pdf”

But Without any knowledge of After Effects I am affraid you wount be able to edit it. You need atleast basics.
