Anyone have a template for an electrician? – Small business type thing. Don’t see on on Themeforest – could be a $$ generator. I’d buy a good one WYSWYG.

Thx

Hi @temagami!

What are your detailed needs for this project? I may create a template for you in Joomla or WP.

Regards.

Well I came to Themeforest to see if there were a bunch of them (like monster template) then I could simply choose one. So, I never even thought about it ;-)

I typed “electrician” into the search field and there seems to be a bunch of people searching for electrician, carpenter, artisians templates. I was thinking there is an untapped market here. Let’s say a “luthier” – lots of guys are making musical instruments – electricians (lots of guys run thier own home business) – plumbers, stained glass worker, car painters …..

But off the top of my head, a nice slider at the top with a spot for a colourful logo above – square buttons (nothing fancy). A great contact form – maybe 5 sub pages…. these types of sites are basically online business cards for these people – they don’t want to be changing them around. Maybe a combo of one and two columns…

Oh ya… and WYSWYG – I can code, don’t get me wrong. But being able to load up a template in a version of Dreamweaver and to see the site the same way it would look on both firefox and Explorer – AND being able to simply click and edit though a GUI would be great!!

I just went to the search field and typed in some key words – these had a “No results for….”

- plumber - welder - electrician - carpenter - HVAC - Truck Driver (independent) - construction - contractor - gas fitter

... on and on.

Wordpress would not be needed. Skill Trades people would have someone else setup their website (they don’t have time to play around with a template) and then it would simply sit as their online ‘searchable’ presence in that particular area
