I actualy see this as C4D templates death in VH… and a sepatare AE/Element items category.
A 3D program is an entirely different beast. In fact, you can guarantee that when it becomes cheaper and easier to do a certain thing, that more people will be more pushed to be able to better that thing…. i.e. towards a real 3D application.Still – I reserve judgement. I’ll think about buying at that price. Maybe next month when I’ve got time to play with it.
It is absolutely worth spending that money. I am certainly getting it, even if I wount be able to “marketplation-itemize” it
I wonder will be allowed to make pre-rendered version of projects used this plug-in like tons of projects with pre-rendered Optical Flares…
^ Why not? Just like all other plugins
Btw it looks great. Can’t wait to try it.
Yes, you are right. As far as I remember Mark was in contact with VC staff about including prerendered optical flares in VH projects. Answer was fortunately positive (of course without included any other VC files, than prerendered optical flares (mov)). I hope that we will have positive answer again.
I will flag this post for staff reply
I already can see a new wave of metal extruded logos
I can’t see that now. Cause you can’t do it with actual image placed in as layer. You have to import it into Element. I realy doubt that envato and many client will have obj or c4d logo file…
you can’t use png ir ai file as we can see. Maybe Kramer didn’t show that but I think for the promotion of that plug-in he would have shown it.My guess is that no raster or vector image logo will work with it.
I think it’s not true. A quote from VideoCopilot: “We think the 3D text extrusion system not only fun to play with but it’s unlike anything you’ve ever used before. It’s fast, and easy to use but this is just one of the many cool new features!”. I think he wouldn’t say this if you couldn’t use layers for extrusion. Check it out yourself here: http://www.videocopilot.net/blog/2012/06/element-3d-feature-26/
EDIT : Actually, here it’s even said ‘Easily Extrude and Bevel Text and Mask shapes!’. I wonder why he didn’t mention simple layers though.
R.I.P. Trapcode Particular
Wow AK really outdid himself with this one. The level of control you have over the objects is remarkable. I’ll be buying this for sure. If any other company made this it would be over $1000 but AK keeps things affordable and I really like that about him.
OMG ! This is Fantastic and revolutionary on motion graphics world!
