Email template for newsletter AND transactional emails

It seems that all of the email templates (to be honest I have only gone through about 5 pages) are just for newsletters. I am looking for a comprehensive email package that includes - A newsletter template where I can showcase content or a product - A simple transactional template after a customer purchases, just a logo, header bar, and content area.

I know I could create one from a newsletter I like but it seems like a missed opportunity for authors that aren’t including an additional simple template to go into their products.

I think its a good concept, but not sure something like that would even get accepted its sounds almost “too simple” thats why a lot of the email templates are really complex

I think I speak for most people that wished to upload a theme like that, this idea has already left our minds, because it’s never going to be accepted.

I am struggling to get accepted with a theme like you just said, but my hopes are dying quick. I just don’t get it neither…

We came to that decision weirdly enough about 2 weeks ago and already have some in the pipeline.

We sat down and went through each product category to work out what we thought was a wish list from buyers on certain products. We decided that email campaigns are exactly that – campaigns, we know because we send them out and create them for clients – as such we will be releasing “Campaign Packages” in the email category – basically the usual stuff – teaser, event / sale day, reminder email, thanks emails etc – all matching and as you quite rightly said you can already do this yourself (we already include several versions of ours right now including basic message template etc) but we will be putting more effort in to this idea.
