Email Templates too highly priced

The site templates which have various jquery effect, multiple pages have prices of $10, $12 and $15.

Email templates which lack any pages nor effects are priced at $10. I think this really affects their sales and site template authors negatively.

I can pump out 10 email templates in a day, but try that with site templates.

What do you all think?

Why don’t you make 10 of them then ?

When I saw the thread title my first thought was ‘ERRR…’, but actually you’ve made a very valid point .

I think he should, if he’s any good – the early signs seem to point to more profit vs. time/effort.

I don’t know, designing websites is a hobby for me and I have to leave to serve my mandatory military service in 14 days, which lasts for 5 months.

I mean comon, how long does it take you to create a single page?

You know what, i actually agree.

I can see WHY they are priced that way, I mean it is a skilled artform these days, but I can also see how you think it’s quite easy because us oldskoolers think nothing of cranking out a one page template.

Why don’t you make 10 of them then ?

That’s what Jeff said and it’s pretty true people.

He requested I make it a 8-N-1 and now it’s up to a 15-N-1 and it’s priced at $9 though it takes a while to design 10 layouts, much less 15 and provide documentation plus screenshots from Litmus App and a Screenr Tut.

It was really fun though not having to know more than two languages to produce a nice file again.

Reminds of making Active files back in the day again.

Only Action Script & XML most often, except the HTML preview I suppose and then again occasional JavaScript.

I think if they were priced any lower no Author would be interested in creating them, it’s a great price for Buyers and a great price for Authors don’t know why anyone is complaining.
