just published the new track with a mandolin! :) find it in my portfolio… ;)

next one will require some time to arrange and i’m very busy at the momoent… but it will titled “this is not an ukulele” – will sound like an ukuele but i have no ukuleles at home (and no, i will not use a capo on a guitar)... :)

a new track in my serie “This is not an ukulele” sounds similar to an ukulele but in fact is a small chinese lute bought in shanghai several years ago… (yes, there are mallets!)

I personally like your balalaika tracks not only because they sound different, but because the arrangement and chord progression is different. It’s getting difficult to tell the difference among all those ukelele tracks. Good work!

thanks a lot! :) indeed, the motivation to use those instrument was exaclty the one you told… create some “different” but still with the “happy mood” characteristics of the ukulele tracks!

thanks again for listeining!

Yeah I like it. It sounds good, I have two balalaikas my self but they are just not with me at the moment (I move around a little bit too much) :) and it looks like you’ve put a lot of $$$$ in to the mic and pre amp. :D
