I know that we can’t get the emails and names of our customers, but I wonder if we could get a geographical breakdown of where our customers are located. E.g. Country, City ?
That would be helpful and useful for marketing purposes.

Not even envato knows this info, they may know country from Google Analytics but they cant link that to a username.

That’s true. I think that the best solution for authors will be an improved Envato’s analytics.

your location in the world can be revealed by your IP

Of course Envato knows the location (from the IP address) of each customer. The question is if they want to provide that information to us or not. I’m not talking about the exact IP – just the country maybe city
