I have opened two tickets, no response. I have tried for 3 weeks, using 3 different brands of credit cards, I cannot make a simple $200 deposit on Videohive. If they are not accepting money nor resolving the issues why are you reading this post? For me, I am trying to spend the last $3.50 on this site. Please anyone have alternate great suggestions where to spend my money? This was a great site.

I request Envato to give some priority to address buyers tickets, In my opinion these issues should be solved at first.

Obviously support are the ones to help on this one, but if it was me and I was experiencing the same issue… I’d try making a $20 and see if that works. If it does then you’ll know it’s an issue with the amount, and not specifically the card/your account/anything else. Then you could try adding $80 and then $100. Worth a try!

Thanks for that. Oddly… I did exactly that! My corporate account does not allow for $20 refills. It is go big or do not PAY ENVATO AT ALL!.. So… I am stuck… I need a place that will take my companies money that pays all the artists out there!

Hi DSC, can you please be so kind to post your ticket ID’s? In the meantime, an alternative which has been proven successful to some, is this simple workaround, provided by fellow community members.

So I received my reply from tech support. I could put a little emotion into this or just plainly copy and paste. Here is the simple fact narrowed down. It is not our problem your money cannot get deposited into our bank account. Call Money Brokers or PayPal….. See YA!!!!

So my question again is the same, anyone know of another great site where they accept my money?

PS.. Here is ENVATOs response…

“we do not handle any of the monetary transactions made to the site, these are done by our partners PayPal and MoneyBookers. You will need to contact Paypal or Moneybookers support to resolve this matter. Let me know if you need any other assistance. “

UPDATE: PayPal does work! However Envato tech support is beyond respectful to resolving MONEY issues. Their response was so indignant it is nearly unbelievable. Here is the same situation described another way, if a customer walked into a casino and tried to put a $100 bill into a machine and it did not work they would probably first find a different piece of currency and try it again. After several $100, $50, $20, $10, $5 and $1 denominations did not work they would probably ask someone in the casino to fix the machine. Some how you think for a second a casinos’ response would be anything like ENVATOS’ response? O sorry, we do not have any responsibility for the machine, we did not make it nor are responsible for fixing it.

I have tried to keep from using explicit language but here goes…

WTF!!!

As for you artist that create the fine artwork I use at our multimillion dollar casino…. I have another $200 in my account to spend on you guys! The thing is…. our casino does not like to leave CC info just laying around on a server somewhere. Management gave in by creating a new credit card especially for ENVATO!

They’re not being rude by saying that monetary transactions are not handled by Envato but by Moneybookers and PayPal – they’re stating facts they cannot influence.

They have no interest in fooling you, you need to believe what they tell you. They did neither develop your bank system nor PayPal, they are simply a channel, the middle man. Try to stay calm please, nobody wants to do you any harm.

Talking about competing marketplaces on the forums is against Envato policy, so you will most certainly not get answers.
Of course you are always free to leave if you prefer another marketplace.

Cheers
