Envato author? Get ready to sanctions

Hello, friends. First of all i have already wrote to support center, ID – VLA-355-27819 and there is no answer.

We uploaded our new theme to TF 4 times. And each time is was soft rejected. We understand, if theme has issues, it can be rejected, but is it possible to write all issues in one letter, but not elongate it on 4?

And after fixing of all the issues we go back to the end of the queue. That could be not a problem if the progress bar moved forward. But what we get is when the progress line is almost at the finish it goes back to the begining again and again. So we can’t approve our theme about three weeks!

At the same time reviewers comments almost do not contain critical issues, there are hundreds themes that contains the same “issues” and they are approved and sold well.

I want to ask – are such “sanctions” applied to DFD personally, or to all new authors?

Hi, h2theme!

Thanks for reply. But problem is not about demo, or theme bugs. The problem is in time of theme approval.

It sound funny, but it seems like the reviewers don’t want us to publish theme.

The progress bar still goes from about 30 to 85 percent and then back again for already two days and it happens after every resubmission. It takes up to 3 days to get ‘soft-rejected’ afetr the fixes. Lot of themes appear on the main page at the same time.

We dont know what to think.

Envato is my best friend, but I have been working with TF for 4 years (not only with DFD), and I have never had my themes reviewed for so long. It took only two days to approve our previest theme.

Not really possible. For example if your issue sound like “design is not good enough” – what is the point for reviewer to look into your code and find the code issues? Reviewer job is not to get your item accepted, but filter items that are up to current standards. They don’t have the time to describe everyone what is the problem with his item in details.

And after fixing of all the issues we go back to the end of the queue. That could be not a problem if the progress bar moved forward. But what we get is when the progress line is almost at the finish it goes back to the begining again and again. So we can’t approve our theme about three weeks!

Progress bar doesn’t work properly, unfortunately it can’t be an indicator of how soon you will be reviewed.

At the same time reviewers comments almost do not contain critical issues, there are hundreds themes that contains the same “issues” and they are approved and sold well.

What are these issues? Maybe they are in much older items. This sounds subjective without details.
