Hi all,

I got into a very bad situation. One of our customer who bought our template, initially he did not understand about demo images and given us 1star.

Rating: 1 stars Reason: Customer Support Comment: no support, images didn’t show up on my site which is typical of these themes, I sent the guy an email and 2 days later no answer, even set him up with a username and pw for my site to check it. Still no answer. I’ll give him a 1 star rating until it gets fixed or I’ll just file for a refund.
As soon as i explained him about the images he was asking, he changed the rating to 5 star again
Rating: 5 stars Reason: Customer Support Comment: They provided me great customer support after I made a mistake of not reading something. The theme is nice. I have given 5 stars.

Now customer changed his mind again and he rated us again 1 star without even asking for any support.

Rating: 1 stars Reason: Other Comment: I’m not happy with this theme, The front end looks good but trying to find where stuff is just too hard. I can’t even find where to disable the blog and take it off the main menu. I would honestly want my money back on this and purchase from an American designer.

I already asked him to write and send me all issues/questions he have and I promised to help him untill he get satisfied but not sure what he will do now :(

I really got fed up with this. Yesterday I spent 4 hours to explain/guide him about the demo images and than he changed the rating but today again he came with something else. Really frustrating to get this after doing all hard work on the template.

Not sure who can help us to revert our rating

It always cracks me up when people write things like

I would honestly want my money back on this and purchase from an American designer.

The rating will stay the same unless the buyer decides to change it.
That’s how it works. No one will erase it. It most definitely sucks, but there will always be some terrible customers who will never appreciate your effort.

Yeah, and you know what I spent 3 hours yesterday to explain him and he was happy at the end. Earlier his system had some ip block so it was nt workng thn I explained and asked him to unblock my ip.

Overall its a bad experience and Im very sad for it :(

I don’t really think it’s the rating system itself that sucks, just the customers that rate poorly for inaccurate reasons.

If you can´t defend yourself after totally idiotic argument that goes with that low-star rate – it sucks :)

Yeah I agree but you see in this case, customer rated me three times. Now he is asking for refund. Money is not a problem but rating makes a big difference

Its just too bad, ratings are very important in any market place and if you get a negative rating, its just make impact on your profile badly

Its really sad, a new product i launched “Sixthlife Search for Envato Affiliates” with 100% working demo and plugin. I used it on my blog sixthlife.net/blogs for a whole 1 year, know for sure it works on various servers, as i changed server thrice..

The 6th buyer decides to leave a feedback so it is the first feedback “not working at all”

I immediately mailed him after feedback, still awaiting his reply…
