Guys, do you know what might cause pain in this area? http://prntscr.com/2kgigy It starts only sometimes, not everytime I run.
Pretty common for new runners. I had my time with those. You must find a running pace that the least pressure on your legs. If you hear your legs clapping with the road, you are doing it wrong.
Also, it’s not something that can be ignored. Can give a lot of trouble.
The backs of the legs between the ankle and knees are your calves, not your shins (they’re on the front).
If it’s your calf muscles hurting a little, that’ll happen a bit after running if you’re working the muscles harder than they’re used to. It means they’re really working and will get stronger.
If the pain is sharp though, or if it is your shins (bone in the front of your legs), then you should stop running and check with a doctor, imho.
It’s not in the front of my legs And I think it’s because I wasn’t used to run before and trying to run 5km from the first 1-2 weeks is obviously too much.
Will see how it goes over time, obviously the pain stops if I take a 5 minute break or so.. or the next day.. so I don’t think it’s an injury or something serious. At least I hope.
I play tennis during summer and I do lots of sprints, didn’t have any trouble there.
Sadly i’m too late.. Can count me in?? Would it be possible to extend the deadline? Feeling sad
Back on the run after a day’s rest
Feeling great ofcourse! This time I cut through a park close by. I did manage to capture the moment (I think). Weather was great today, after 3 days of continuous rain
