I was reading this note about this envato wordpress toolkit.
I’m a little confused by this:
In addition to the main ZIP file that an author provides, we need them to also provide another ZIP file containing only the WordPress theme, which the plugin will then use
It says that we need to provide 2 zip files.
1.) The main zip file (which would be the theme)
2.) Another zip file (containing only the theme)
So what’s the difference between the two zip files?
while the main zip file contains the theme as well as documentation and PSDs or HTML versions you might provide,
the theme zip file will contain only the actual files of your theme, so if I remember correctly, zip the theme php files and folders into the theme.zip so the index.php file is in the root of the zip.
I purchased the 7 theme and am looking for the tutorials on building my site. I have never built a wordpress site before so all the help I can get would be great. please advise
Hello, I have a multisite wordpress installation. I have buy a theme and installed the Envato Wordpress Toolkit. In the Multisite dashboard I have inserted my username and API in the Envato Wordpress Toolkit and in the main site the popup:
To enable * update notifications, please enter your Envato Marketplace credentials in the Envato WordPress Toolkit Plugin
disappear but not in the other sites.
How can I remove the advice from the other sites?
