So true. A competition about themes should be at least 3 months to allow for sufficient development time and quality – remember, you are trying to sell these themes and Envato should not sacrifice the good quality admin themes we have at the moment because of this competition. Also, do we really want to see 20 bootstrap themes? I mean….They will virtually be the same theme….

Completely agree with both of you, wanted to mention the same thing. I usually spend 10 days (or more, it depends on what type of theme i’m working on) in Photoshop designing. Then comes the developement, and then i’m late … just to see that most of the submissions are just a bunch of “squares&circles” templates

Anyways, i’ll try this one.

In about 2 weeks. But unfortunately, it’s not build on Bootstrap.

You’ve actually got 5 weeks. Unfortunately, we can’t run this contest for 3 months as one person suggested as we have a lot more Most Wanted events to push out this year and manage. It also defeats the purpose of these events – to see who is quickest to react. 5 weeks is therefore an ample amount of time for this kind of project. Regarding quality – our usual standards apply so if someone submits something they created in ‘5 minutes’ then it’s not likely to get approved.

You’ve got to look at Most Wanted as an opportunity, now’s the time for the Admin Template developers/designers to shine and take advantage of an exciting opportunity. No-one’s being forced into creating anything. Good luck to all those planning on entering, this is a great time to make some extra money if you were thinking of creating/releasing one or two new Admin Templates.

After receiving $3000, I will relax until Christmas ( I only make a joke )

I’ll make my best to have my first template for Theme Forest a Most Wanted winner.
