These things tend to work somewhat “awkward” so they are not exactly ready for mass use. You can even get those Minority Report gloves; at least US army and some MIT students has them. But it’s not like you can use them much. If you are a developer, it could be a nice toy, but other than that…

You gotta realize that this is the first one that is for the mainstream consumer. Before it was all government programs and certain individuals that could get a hand on this kind of technology. It’s pretty exciting stuff that they made something pretty accessible to all.
You can also buy a developer version which of course costs you a bit more but now the masses can develop and experiment with it. I can’t wait for some genius kid to make something cool with it. But like it said, i still find it scary in some ways

It’s $500 for developers. I really want to be a developer for it! 
I think you can make a program with C+, and fortunately i’ve been learning C+ for some days…
