@Stylius Furthermore, Barcelona typically play with 2 strikers.
Going back to Spain for a second, I really think they’re missing David Villa this tournament, especially while Torres still hasn’t quite returned to form yet (but he’s slowly getting there). Perhaps the absence of Villa and the out-of-form Torres is why the Spanish coach elected to play 6 midfielders? I think Spain will be a lot more effective if they start with at least Torres up front for their next game. I hate to say this because I want Ireland to do well, but I think Spain might go to town against Ireland on Thursday and score several goals against them.
