Let’s all use this topic to share our craziest client stories from 2013. I will start first:

A long time ago i agreed to do some work for a client and because of him asking me to use a file, i bought for me, for him too instead of buying it himself i stopped working with him. He kept insisting for a while and after some time he stopped. In the last few days of 2013 i decided to say : Happy New Year to all my clients and i stumble upon this guy again. When i checked his website guess what? He was using photos taken from my website to find work. Of course i contacted him and while i was making my argument to make him take those photos down he kept saying he wants to work with me and that he posted those photos to find work for me :))). While i was talking serious he was playing the innocent not guilty and friendly guy card, but after some time he understood and he removed the photos. Yay for me!!! But now he uploaded someone else’s photos and he is using them :)))

From everything that happened this was the craziest of all! Now it is your turn.

I have lost track of the number of people over the years who have provided / asked for professional “hi res” (to use their terminology!) artwork/logos/print designs and EVEN poster designs in Word, PowerPoint or Paint…

That and the “my friend/brother/mother/uncle/aunt/son/daughter/dog is a web designer / graphic designer and they tell me it should look like / be done like…..”

:) really funny (maybe because they reflect the reality so much….)

My experience:

For a client, a gallery with images, clicking an image shows something in a lightbox.

Client:
- Can you make the gallery images larger? They are too small.
Me:
- Of course. Like this? This would be fine? etc

One day after:
Client:
- I don't like them, they seem too large now, can you make them smaller?
Me:
- Of course, I'll make them smaller.

Another day after:
I showed him the very first version, with the smaller images and he said:
- That's perfect! Now I like them! Thank you!

This is a real story! Pretty much according to those funny pictures you posted…

I know these stories are meant to be funny, but I must admit to feeling very sad and anxious when I read them because these people really are out there, around every corner waiting to ruin my day.
