Is it possible for an author (like ourselves) to be exclusive on Theme Forest while still maintaining non-exlusive status on FlashDen ?
All the best.
Absolutely. That shouldn’t be a problem at all.
Do you have any suggestion regarding how to go about this ?
Oh – I see what you’re asking. Let me check with my boss on that. I’ll get back to you tomorrow.
Thanks, no rush.
- Author has had an Item Featured
- Author was Featured
- Bought between 10 and 49 items
- Envato Studio (Microlancer) Beta Tester
- Exclusive Author
- Has been a member for 7-8 years
- Interviewed on the Envato Notes blog
- Referred between 200 and 499 users
I don’t think it is possible right now because same account is used across all the envato network websites but it should be implemented.
thanks for the replies guys, I’m standing by for an answer from the floors above
The way the site application (that hosts flashden, themeforest, and audiojungle) works is that your exclusive status is set across all sites.
Also according to the exclusivity agreement in section 1 “Site” : is the website covered by three domains located at flashden.net, audiojungle.net and themeforest.net.
So currently you’re envato exclusive, not exclusive per site.
If you need any further clarification or if you have any feedback on that, best to take it up with Vahid.
Thank you for the clarification, this is why I asked the question in the first place. Oh well, I guess we’ll have to be non-exclusive on TF as well
Yeah – Unfortunately, your account works across all of the sites. Typically, this is a beneficial feature. But, I can understand your dilemma.
Why not create a new account for Theme Forest specifically. That way, you can be exclusive with one username, but not the other.
