Extended License

Hey guys and girls!

1) Just from a pure curiosity, have you ever had a sale of Extended license?

2) Of which file?

3) Do you know what was a purpose of that purchase?

4) Do you regret it or are you looking forward to more Extended sales?

I am sure many of you are interested in this topic

I couldn’t find a thread for this, so I hope there isn’t some already started.

I had some sales with extended license, mainly sound effects.

it is unnecessary really… also expensive! i am sure nobody won’t sell/buy with Extended license.. Why we have this feature ? but we can think maybe Single / Multiple Commercial Licenses.. it will be better..

Wouldn’t that be the same? Or do you want both licences for commercial?

unnecessary? did you read the wiki for the licenses?

the standard license is for free products

the extended license is for products you re-sell, commercially

if you need it multiple times, purchase it again

first you said it’s unnecessary and then you asked why we have this feature… hmmm

I haven’t had any extended license purchase but I think I recall selling a 5 site license (can’t remember the name of this license) back in mid 2009.

I’ve been approached many times by buyers wanting to buy a multiple site license (like 10 or 20 uses), too bad they don’t exist anymore. I actually don’t remember why the Envato folks removed this license, but they must have had their plausible reason.

We used to have “Single” and “Multiple” license purchase options but as daniel said you can just buy a single multiple times… its much more useful to have a different KIND of license (which is the extended)

Yes… just 2 days ago…

It was one of my GR files… I don’t want to promote it in the forums… the forum cop-ers will throw me in the slammer… however you can poke your eye out with it…

No, my customers don’t talk to me… the bunch of jerks…

4) Do you regret it or are you looking forward to more Extended sales?

It gave me this funny feeling inside, right between my esophagus and my stomach… but when I saw I made 5x the original price… a chalked it up to indigestion and did a quick little jig…

When a buyer buys a extended license, was that a one time sale and it isn’t possible to sell that item anymore? Can’t find that information on the site?
