Hi guys, right now my eyes hurt because of over usage of computer. I’ve never used glasses but I may need. After long hours of computer usage, I rest my eyes for an hour or so but I may need a complete day of “off computer” lol. Do you guys have that problem? What do you do?

About 10 years ago a client/collaborator asked me how many years I’ve been on the job. I was relatively new back then and so he said “ok, be prepared, in about 10 years you’ll need glasses and you’ll get some back problems”. He was mainly right LOL And when you keep sitting in front of the computer many hours also on your personal time than just the time required for your work, well, you rush things to that direction in shorter time. Guilty as charged.

Thanks for the replies guys :) I think it’s time to visit an eye specialist doctor.. After all, geek glasses (and I checked the links) don’t look bad at all :) @miseld, damn it may be true lol. @aRtlessX, damn he’s right. We should solve all ergonomy problems

A simple solution: when working on the computer, work 4 hrs of the day with your left eye closed, and then 4hrs with your right eye closed… so then you cut down the strain on your eyes by half
