One silly question. I see people using http://fancyapps.com/fancybox/#license (fancybox) at their templates while it is distributed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 3.0.
Can I use it? Why it is allowed since it says at the license: Noncommercial — You may not use this work for commercial purposes.
Or if i get the developers license I can use it (although I doubt it).
fancyBox Multi Domain License $89.00
Allows fancyBox to be used with an unlimited number on any commercial website you develop in the future, at no further cost
Yes saw that but thought that you could still not use it here, good news, already have a developer license Let’s see when my first template is done!
FancyBox 1.x is licensed under MIT / GPL, you can use it for free in your TF item…
FancyBox 2.x uses different license…
This is also the reason why WooCommerce change the lightbox script from FancyBox 1.x to PrettyPhoto…
You can use fancybox 2 in your theme, you need to purchase a $89 license for each theme. Reference: http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/fancybox/72615?page=2
