Being a Graphicriver Author myself, I understand how you all feel and so do the Staff.
Staff have already pointed out that they’re working on the problem and will be posting on Notes about the issue as soon as they can.
You all know the Forum Rules and know that posting threads on this topic is against them.
Usually I take the time to explain to Authors, whether by replying to the threads themselves, or by deleting the threads and then messaging the OP’s – why exactly I have removed or locked their thread.
The fact of the matter is, these threads do more harm than good and are counter productive. You are airing your complaints about the problem and at the same time informing new buyers about it.
I know how frustrated you are about these issues, but please keep these threads off the Forums.
The frequency of these threads is increasing and repeatedly so by Authors who blatantly know they shouldn’t be posting them.
From now on, I will be removing these threads immediately, so you will be wasting your time by posting them.
Please stick to submitting your tickets and complaints to Support where they are not in public view.
Thanks for your post and your explanation to this problem. Sure it is frustrating and sure we know the Forum Rules. But i can´t agree with you that we inform new buyers that they can find some items out there. There are much more other possibilities to find. And they are much better.
I think GR should more think about the concernings of the designers. It´s is the stuff of them and not of the “bad guys” here at GR or other Envato pages. We are Envatos customers too and should get some help and not only hints all the time that some of us violates the forum rules meanwhile the “bad guys” could do what they want. Submitting tickets to the support team is NOT helpful. I got an automatic mail. And after that i will get a second mail with “tips” that i should try to remove the bad links. WOW ! Very helpful…GR will not fight against copyrights violations but fight all the time against violations in the forums. Nice service i think.
Sorry but i am a little bit angry about these explanation. I´ve got a question: Would Envato throw out their customers if this market will be a real market place with personal contact??? I don´t think so.
Looks like my post on the previous thread has given the word Giraffe a whole new meaning. This thread will look a bit strange to people not in the know!
This thread should get locked before it ends up being a repeat of the ones before!
Those thereads will keep appearing until the real problem disapears.
