I would guess that 99% of buyers don’t even notice those small tabs “FAQ” and “Support”. If they were were prominent I think they would be utilized a lot more by both devs & buyers.

How about showing a popup FAQ when someone clicks 1 star to rate item? :D
This will encourage authors to add life saver FAQs! :P

AJ, having purchased more than one of your themes. I’ve used FAQs in each. While simple accordion FAQs have their place, I liked the isotope spin you’ve put on them in the past.

I hope to continue to see further creativity and innovation in this area. Boring / pedestrian FAQs may not get much use but a well done one can make all the difference.

So by the same token, I definitely look for an FAQ tab on any given item’s page (and actually read it) before making a comment / sending an email. I’ve even made suggestions to authors about questions that have ended up on their FAQ Tab. That’s me even if I’m in the minority.

I always read the FAQ’s when browsing themes, in fact if an author hasn’t got any on their page I’m unlikely to buy their product.

I don’t know how often do they check it. Looks customers were checking it mainly as I read it from previous 2 replies.

So I use that FAQ page and send them a permalink of answer continually If someone ask about things that has answered on the page. After that another customers realize what there have something they need and need to check faq

Some good info. Thanks everyone!

I’ve noticed the added permalink for the FAQ’s and also that you can move them up and down. These are the main reasons I’ve started using them again. I thing the way they were before was virtually useless.

AJ, Thanks for sharing this info. I like this small improvement in FAQ section.

You are the main reason I’ve started using FAQ section today. ;)

Rarely. But I think it will be great to have a tab for changelog and version number. So we can keep the item description clean, easy to read and, beautiful :)

I always use them. They can be timeSavers for some purchasers.
