As the subject says this is about the site http://www.fastwebhost.com/.

Does anyone know if they are any good? I am considering switching my old reseller account to a new provider due to alot of dns errors and due to the fact that alot of the time the sites cant be reached which is unacceptable for both me and my clients!

At the moment, I’m using 123-Reg Unlimited Hosting Package, but to be perfectly honest, I’m not very happy with them.

The websites I host are all extremely slow and actually, for the service I’m getting from them, it works out very expensive.

I’d avoid them – and the worst part is that I’m locked into a contract, and can’t cancel until the end.

A bit annoyed, but I’ve found a few ways to get around the problems, such as caching and using a CDN [but even then, it’s really slow!]

Avoid them at all costs!

Thank you both! I will look at the first one and avoid the second!

Min max group (www.hostbig.com www.reselleris.com) are to be avoided as well.

I’ve had about 10 hours downtime per week and it takes almost 30 seconds to load a simple html page.

The costs might be super low but is it worth it when you can’t deliver a high quality end-product to your dear clients?

I am thinking about starting my own webserver instead since my bandwidth is unlimited here and I got decent upload/download speed.

Do you think that 2gb ram, 600 gb harddrive, 2.8 ghz 1 core cpu is enough for me and about 10 clients?
