I’m sorry but the earlier review stands. I’m not seeing sufficient improvements here.

While I like the general concept and direction this theme has taken, the template’s design will need to be polished up significantly to be considered for approval.

Right now, your use of white space, the layout of elements and general styling will need significant improvements. I’ll be able to provide further feedback as to how to get this approved but only after the design itself has crossed a certain threshold with regards to design quality. I’m sorry to say it’s not there yet.

I strongly recommend seeking feedback via our forums or sites such as http://Dribbble.com, http://ConceptFeedback.com or http://Forrst.com. These are all fantastic resources to seek feedback from fantastic designers who have a knack of getting things approved.

As I mentioned, this template has a great start but will need improvements before this can be approved.

I’ve worked all your highlighted elements. I have changed the header/frame/footer background color into light color, use driod fonts, sans for body and serif for headings also i give spacing between elements. I did the same as you pointed out in the screenshot.

I can see that you did work on it and maybe it even got better since thread one, but I am not sure if the improvements are enough to justify continuing to work on that.

Your typography is still bad, especially the hierarchy. Also, the contrast is not doing it. The spacing between text and other elements is really bad. Also, the images are not appealing, the colors are pale (therefor contrast) and there is no real frame that keeps all the elements together (therefor whitespace).

I think this is about your fourth or fifth thread about your theme, and you seem to continue getting the same feedback which does not seem to help you. Your theme is not close to getting accepted as the reviewer is not ready to give you specific feedback yet. Did you try opening a ticket to see if the reviewers may help you more detailed?

In general I always say don’t lose hope and continue working, but the changes you are making are not significant. It seems you want to stick to your theme as it is, but you will need massive changes in order to get it accepted. I seriously think you might run into chances to get into trouble for keeping uploading the theme without significant changes.

I’m sorry mate, we have all been there, but now it’s time to move faster than you have until now.

Nothing has changed in your template, spacings, images (bad ones), line-height, colours, huge icons, small font size paragraphs, black borders, so on and so forth–all stayed as it had been before. You removed huge “View More”, that is correct, but all the rest?

Listen to people who give you advices (and by the way, as you see, they are not people who were born just yesterday and they understand in design not a little) and you have all chances to bring your template to much better look. Wish you that heartily.

I also want to add that you may receive feedback only for the home page but you will have to implement it on all the inner pages too. Your ‘Portfolio – 3 column’ page, for example, has big gaps after the images and between the pagination. Make your spacing consistent throughout all your pages. Also the twitter and facebook icons on your portfolio posts are way too big.

I am sorry, I told images are bad, I meant that they look badly here, not that they are bad themselves. Simply you know, tuxedo and crocs separately are great things but when a person dresses tuxedo and puts on crocs, together it looks awfully.

Also, IMO your current design is too greyish
