Awesome attitude! I think with the will to learn and the love for improvements you will be able to make it on themeforest. Keep it up!

Thanks! Is still feel a bit uncomfortably, the Item I sell should be my work. Scott, can you maybe explain me what you think makes your sketch more likely to be approved? Should I remove the gallery and slider to concentrate on the essential parts (countdown and email subscribtion)? And then of course focus on typography, alignment and asthetics. I am uncertain what to do right now. If it is worth the effort to try to make it fit the quality standards. Right now it seems that my template just sucks.
No, no. I don’t think mine has more chance of being approved than yours, and yes it should be YOUR work that gets approved.
The .PSD is just to help you along with spacing, details, ideas etc… By no way is that .PSD finished, it’s just a rough direction.

Hi guys,
it is me again
I started all over again with a different approach. This is what I came up with: http://themeforest.nilzone.org/demo/allegro/ The Rejection came with the statement: “The about and social section will need a rethink. I appreciate the initiative but the execution needs to be a lot better.” Would appreciate some feedback (especially to the about/social section)!
This still won’t be accepted. Imo, you got a problem with too heavy borders/shadows and spacing.
Also, feedburner logo?
Yeah, that’s not going to get accepted as well. The bottom portion of the design is a total disaster, as everything is jumbled together too tight. Also, it appears you’ve taken a countdown timer script and basically added some graphics to it.. I don’t think TF would appreciate that too well
Anyhow, the design would be much better if you melded it with the background image/color and made the script “flip” the cards as it counts down.
Hope this helps.
Thomas
dekciw saidHm, didn’t know that was the feedburner logo. I was just looking for a placeholder logo and found this released under CC. I should remove it then.
Also, feedburner logo?![]()
beetlesales saidThat is exactly how every other countdown template here on TF works.

Regarding to spacing: This is some kind of true. The lower part is just to squeezed.

So you feel the developers are hijacking scripts and re-using them here?
