I can understand that this theme is rejected because of issues with typography, features, it’s not eye pleasing.
I suggest you to add more content, any more needed feature. Fix this shadow under menu bg. Change background color to any good pattern. Change font, try to match font usage, line-height, size etc…
It need many design improvement before it can be approved as I can see.
