Feedback Please

I would really appreciate some feedback on this theme. As the name suggests it is supposed to be a very simple clean design and it was intended to differentiate as an alternative to the usual slider based themes.

The design itself is inspired by two websites I came across on website showcase lists.

I like the bright version, it looks very clean.

The submenus don’t look too good, they are overlapping the 1st level menus.
The featured images should still be visible a little when hovering, not only dark grey box with a +.
And consider brightening the sliding meta tags background a bit, it’s really high contrast when I’m in the bright style version.

May I ask you, why are you using arial with cufon ?

I chose to use Cufon because it looks cleaner. Disable js and see for yourself. I have already taken this into consideration and added an option to turn it off in the theme options.

I like it very much, the lightbox seems off, and you should find some nice pictures to replace these envato assets.
